My name is Janosch, I am 31 years old and living in Switzerland. As a teen I discovered photography as a means to document my life and to preserve memories. I took quite a few years until I started to show interest in photography as an art form. I don't recall the exact trigger for this change of perception. I suppose there were multiple factors that played an important role. In my mid 20s I thought about making a living out of photography, but quickly discarded it. I found so much value in photography that I simply won't let anybody else have control over my creative freedom. My dislike for social media and concerns in regards to ethics also played a major role in my decision.
